    I actually have about 5 of the records Jeno used to make this tape (not a copy of them, the actual ones used). I got them from the guy who collaborated on the mix with Jeno. It was one of my most significant closures in my life. :) I hope everyone else out there who listens to this gets as much value as I did back in the day. Peace to the Mission Street crew!

    what a miracle i thought this was lost forever. Thank you I cant believe it is around i thought i had lost this forever. What an amazing tape If anyone can help to find house nation (Jeno) Gangsta groov (garth) or other similair works of art please let me know.

    I still have my original copy bought at a store on Haight Street back in early 90s. “Rise” is another of his early mixes I love. But “Bang the Drum” is a message everyone must hear. Peace, and thanks for all the fun times Jeno!

    Oh Fu*k it’s Mike Perras! Beginning of Life is the shit! I just bought it again the other day. I’ve got every track on Bang the Drum on vinyl. Mike that shit still get me and I don’t care what all these new kids think I’ll bust that out anytime. Thank you for that track! Hell yes Mike Muthfuc*kin Perras! Give the man a hand clap!
